Mission:
The mission of the Hutchinson Downtown Association is to build consensus and cooperation among the many groups and individuals who have a role in the revitalization of downtown Hutchinson, to preserve and enhance the physical appearance of downtown by rehabilitating buildings and making streetscape improvements, to strengthen the downtown's existing economic base while finding ways to expand it to meet new challenges and opportunities, and to market and promote the downtown to residents, visitors, new businesses, and potential investors.

Vision:
Downtown Hutchinson will be the "heart and soul" of our community, serving as a destination point for residents and visitors seeking business and professional services, unique shopping opportunities, dining establishments, and arts and entertainment activities.

Downtown Hutchinson will be clean and safe with restored buildings that complement the history and character of our community and streetscape that is aesthetically pleasing and pedestrian friendly.

Downtown Hutchinson will prosper because business and property owners, city staff, elected officials, and community members will work together to stimulate economic development by promoting downtown as an exciting place to visit, invest and do business.
